President of Beni Suef University signs a cooperation protocol with the Rotary Club to serve the community

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, and Dr. Ahmed Sedky, President of the Rotary Club of Beni Suef, signed a cooperation protocol to serve the community, based on the belief of both parties in the solidarity of the community forces to contribute to development and work on the progress of society. This was in the presence of Dr. Abdel Latif Hesham, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ms. Heba Abdel Azim, and Ms. Fawzia Sanusi, members of the club.
The university president explained that cooperation with the club includes many tasks, including holding a ready-made clothing exhibition for needy students at symbolic prices, cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture at the university to plant trees on the inner wall of the university campus. The university youth volunteering to plant 5,000 trees. The project will be implemented during the mid-year vacation. Also, extending and installing a water line for the trees, in addition to training a number of nurses at the university hospital on infection control and how to sterilize surgical tools in laparoscopic operations, organizing an awareness lecture on the dangers of smoking and drugs at the Faculty of Agriculture, and a lecture on teaching the Rotary method to eradicate illiteracy.
Dr. Ahmed Sedky pointed out that each task is carried out by a special committee consisting of a number of faculty members at the university and a number of club members. That committee will begin its work immediately after signing the protocol.
