President of Beni-Suef University Follows Up on “Be Prepared” Initiative and Stresses Its Role in Enhancing Youth Capabilities and Skills

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, today followed up on the activities of the *“Be Prepared”* initiative, one of the executive mechanisms of the presidential initiative *“Alliance and Development.”* The program aims to provide opportunities for training and qualification in future skills required by the labor market, under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The event was held at the University Career Development Center in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University, and Dr. Emad El-Din Mohamed Kamel, Director of the Center.

In his remarks, the University President praised the efforts of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in supporting and developing students’ skills through a number of significant presidential initiatives. He emphasized that this attention reflects a strategic vision to build a generation capable of meeting future challenges and competing in both local and international labor markets. He noted that presidential initiatives, particularly *“Be Prepared,”* represent a pioneering step toward enhancing youth capabilities and refining their skills across various scientific and technological fields, contributing to the preparation of qualified national cadres that drive sustainable development.

He further highlighted that the initiative seeks to train students in key areas, including career readiness, digital skills and artificial intelligence, institutional innovation, and entrepreneurship. Its ultimate goal is to empower one million young men and women within three years through comprehensive training designed to build innovation-driven capacities.
