Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, Beni Suef University welcomed more than 120,000 students across all academic and postgraduate levels across the university's various faculties. This comes after completing all preparations for the new academic year 2025/2026. This is in line with the requirements of quality education and the state's vision for human development, as part of the university administration's commitment to providing a distinguished educational environment.
In this context, Dr. Tariq Ali congratulated all university members, including vice presidents, deans, faculty members, support staff, employees, and students, wishing them a happy academic year filled with success and excellence. He urged his students to adhere to the appropriate appearance of a university student, to respect university traditions and customs, and to participate in various student activities so that the student is not isolated from the rich university life, which is filled with diverse activities and skills.
Dr. Tariq Ali emphasized that the new academic year will witness a boom in educational and research services, with increased efforts to support digital transformation and activate smart learning platforms. He noted that the university seeks to be a model of academic and research excellence and community service.
He added that there is ongoing communication with college deans to follow up on student reception, announce academic schedules, ensure the presence and regularity of university leaders and faculty members, and prepare the college's Youth Welfare Department and its Rover Clan to hold a festival to welcome college students.
Preparations included completing maintenance and equipment work on lecture halls, classrooms, laboratories, and libraries, equipping them with the latest educational and technological tools, and improving the efficiency of university campuses and developing infrastructure and student services to ensure the comfort of expatriate students.
With a full commitment to implementing safety and security measures, and activating diverse student activity plans in the fields of culture, arts, sports, and entrepreneurship, with the aim of refining students' personalities and developing their skills, in addition to expanding the offering of new academic programs that meet the needs of the labor market.
