Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Education organized an awareness seminar titled “Students’ Mental Health Amid Current Circumstances and the Implications of Artificial Intelligence.” The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Osama Mahmoud Qarni, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Ahmed Fekry Behnsawy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Walaa Rabie Mostafa, Professor and Head of the Mental Health Department, and was attended by a large number of students.

Dr. Tarek Ali explained that the seminar addressed the importance of promoting students’ mental health in light of current challenges, particularly the psychological, social, and educational impacts of artificial intelligence. He emphasized that psychological awareness and positive adaptation play a vital role in coping with the rapid changes in the digital world. The seminar witnessed active participation and constructive dialogue, reflecting the Faculty of Education’s commitment to preparing an aware and balanced generation capable of facing the future with confidence and responsibility.

The Acting President also highlighted the importance of organizing such seminars for their effective role in promoting health awareness among students, affirming that the university, as an educational institution, places students’ mental and social well-being at the top of its priorities. He called for greater joint efforts among all concerned entities to ensure a supportive educational environment that fosters mental health, thereby contributing to the development of a creative generation capable of meeting future challenges efficiently and confidently.
