Under the patronage of Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of the University, the Center for Student Services with Special Needs organized an awareness seminar entitled "Assistive Technology and Integration" as part of the activities of the second day of the "Tamkeen" presidential initiative. The seminar was supervised by Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The seminar was presented by Dr. Ahmed Abdullah at the Center.


Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that the symposium comes within the framework of the university's commitment to raising awareness of the role of assistive technology in integrating and empowering people with Special Needs within society. He pointed out that these tools contribute to facilitating the learning and communication process and providing an inclusive educational environment that caters to the needs of all groups. He pointed out that the event is part of the awareness week of the presidential initiative "Tamkeen," which is held under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and continues until Thursday, October 30, as part of the Egyptian state's commitment to empowering and integrating people with Special Needs within the university community.
