As part of the activities of the second day of the presidential initiative "Tamkeen," the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences at Beni Suef University organized a simulation activity to rehabilitate people with autism.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, the College of Special Needs Sciences organized a practical activity to simulate the rehabilitation and skill development processes for people with autism disorder. This activity was part of the activities of the second day of the presidential initiative "Tamkeen". The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Heba Abu Al-Nile, Dean of the College, Dr. Haitham Nagi Abdel Hakim, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs and Director of the Center for Student Services with Special Needs, and in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Rabie, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Ezzaty, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies.
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that this activity comes within the framework of the cooperation between the Center for Student Services with Special Needs and the Autism Department at the college, with the aim of developing the skills of students and participants in how to rehabilitate and train people with autism, in order to achieve their effective social integration. He pointed out that the event is part of the awareness week of the presidential initiative "Tamkeen," which is held under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and continues until Thursday, October 30, as part of the Egyptian state's commitment to empowering and integrating people of determination within the university community.
The university president emphasized that Beni Suef University embraces the philosophy of comprehensive design for education and is proud to have a distinguished center serving students with disabilities, in partnership with the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences, the first of its kind in Egypt and the Arab world in this specialization. He noted that the "Tamkeen" activities embody the Egyptian state's vision of supporting and empowering its children with special needs and providing them with equal opportunities in education and society.
