Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Languages ??organized an awareness seminar on "The Blessing of Security and Peace and Lessons Learned from the October War" under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Marwa Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty. Major General Ibrahim Othman Musa Hilal, strategic expert and former Deputy Secretary-General of the National Defense Council, lectured at the seminar. The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members, employees, and students of the Faculty.

Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that organizing such seminars comes within the framework of the university's ongoing efforts to instill national awareness and authentic values ??in students, and to highlight the importance of security and stability as a fundamental pillar of development and progress. He pointed out that the glorious October War was not merely a military victory, but rather an immortal national epic that included great lessons in strategic planning, strong will, and unity behind the leadership, which is reflected in the Egyptian nation's ability to overcome challenges and achieve its goals in building a bright future.


The university president also thanked Major General Ibrahim Othman for his valuable participation, which enriches thought and deepens awareness among our students. For her part, Dr. Marwa Mahmoud explained that the symposium sought to connect the nation's glorious history with the students' reality, to emphasize that the blessings of security and peace they enjoy are the fruit of the sacrifices of previous generations, and that the role of youth is no less important today in preserving this achievement through academic excellence and positive contribution to society.
