Beni Suef University organizes an awareness-raising and recreational day on hearing impairment as part of the presidential initiative "Tamkeen" .

As part of the third day of the "Tamkeen" presidential initiative, the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences at Beni Suef University organized an awareness-raising and recreational day on hearing impairment. The event was held under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Heba Abu Al-Nil, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Haitham Nagi Abdel Hakim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Director of the Center for Student Services with Special Needs, and Dr. Alfat Al-Sharif, Deputy Director of the Center.


Dr. Tariq Ali emphasized that this event comes within the framework of cooperation between the Center for Student Services with Special Needs and the Hearing Impairment Department, with the aim of spreading a culture of inclusion and social acceptance, and enhancing awareness of the importance of preventing hearing problems. The day included a range of recreational and awareness-raising activities, including student games and competitions, in addition to a performance of the song "Decent Life" in sign language, and a comedy sketch that addressed the importance of preserving hearing and ways to prevent it.

The event was widely attended by faculty members, employees , and students from across the university's colleges, amidst an atmosphere of joy and positive interaction. This reflects the university's commitment to supporting and empowering people of determination and activating its role in serving the community, in line with the Egyptian state's efforts to achieve comprehensive integration for all segments of society.
