Students from the Faculty of Social Work at Beni Suef University organize 5 field visits to institutions caring for the elderly, orphans, and the blind

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Social Development, in cooperation with the “Students for Egypt” family, organized 5 field visits to institutions caring for the elderly, orphans, the blind, and juveniles, under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Hindawi Abdel-Allahi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Social Development, and prepared and implemented by Dr. Fadl Mohamed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Mosaad El-Desouki, Director of the Field Training Unit at the Faculty.
The university president noted that first-year students in the Faculty of Social Work organized five field visits to various institutions, including the Right to Life Association, a nursing home, the Social Defense Complex, the Al-Nour Wal-Amal Center for the Blind, and the Social Institutions Care Association for Orphans. These visits are part of the students' practical training plan and aim to connect them with practical institutions and strengthen the link between the theoretical foundations they studied and the realities of practical application.
For his part, Dr. Hindawi Abdallahi Hassan expressed his gratitude to all those involved in organizing these visits, praising the importance of practical experiences in shaping students' skills. He emphasized that these visits contribute to enhancing students' understanding of the realities of social work and enable them to apply what they have learned in the classroom to real-world situations. He also encouraged students to seize these opportunities to build professional relationships with various institutions, which will help prepare them to become qualified social workers capable of meeting the needs of the community.
