Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, discussed today a master's thesis entitled "Evaluation of the Combined Therapeutic Effects of Laser Light and Bee Venom in the Treatment of Full Freund's Support-Induced Rheumatoid Arthritis in Rats." The thesis was presented by researcher Jihad Mohamed Sayed Mahmoud, a teaching assistant in the Genetics and Molecular Biology Division of the Zoology Department at the Faculty of Science, in the discussion hall of the Guest House in East Nile.
This discussion comes as part of the university's efforts to support scientific research and promote innovation in the fields of medical treatment, with a focus on new uses of bee venom and laser light in modern treatment programs.
The university president affirmed that the researcher had presented a model to be emulated in serious and distinguished scientific research through her valuable thesis that dealt with "evaluating the combined therapeutic effects of laser light and bee venom in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis."

It should be noted that the supervisory committee consisted of Dr. Tarek Ali Mohamed, Acting President of Beni Suef University and Professor of Laser Physics at the Laser Research and Applications Institute, Beni Suef University, Dr. Magdy Abdel Rahim Sayed, Professor of Genetics and Molecular Biology in the Department of Zoology, and Dr. Sally Mustafa Ibrahim, Assistant Professor of Genetics and Molecular Biology in the same department.
