Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty members and Leadership capabilities Development Center is organizing a training course on integrity, transparency, and anti-corruption. The course will be held at the Center’s headquarters, in addition to offering an online version via Microsoft Teams. It is supervised by Dr. Gomaa Saeed Tohami, the Center’s Director, with the participation of a large number of faculty members and teaching assistants.
Dr. Tarek Ali explained that organizing this course comes as part of the university’s commitment to promoting the principles of integrity and enhancing institutional awareness of good governance concepts. He noted that the training program addresses several important topics, most notably the concept and types of corruption, common manifestations and causes of corruption, its institutional and societal impacts, methods of measuring corruption according to various standards, the general foundations of combating corruption, and raising awareness of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy. He pointed out that this course is part of a series of training programs offered by the Center to support academic and administrative development and to promote a culture of integrity within the university environment.
