Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Beni Suef University, paid a distinguished scientific visit to the Nawah Scientific Research Center.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, a delegation of students from the Faculty of Pharmacy carried out a pioneering scientific visit to Nawah Scientific Research Center. The visit aimed to strengthen the practical dimension of learning, connect students with modern scientific research techniques and fields, and support them in developing their academic and scientific capabilities.
The visit was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Shahira El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Adel Ahmed, Vice Dean for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ahmed Farouk, General Coordinator of the “Students for Egypt” initiative; Dr. Hossam El-Hawary, General Coordinator of Student Activities; and Dr. Dina, Coordinator of the “Students for Egypt” initiative at the Faculty. The visit was organized in cooperation between the “Students for Egypt” initiative and the Youth Welfare Department at the Faculty.
Dr. Tarek Ali affirmed that Beni Suef University spares no effort in supporting its students and providing them with opportunities to explore the latest scientific advancements. He emphasized that field visits are a fundamental component in shaping the personality of a promising researcher and in linking university education with labor market and research needs.
During the visit, students toured the various laboratories within the center, including microbiology, molecular biology, and analytical chemistry labs, in addition to advanced instrument laboratories. They were introduced to the steps of conducting scientific research, starting from sample reception and preparation methods, to the use of modern instruments for testing and ending with data analysis.
Dr. Shahira El-Menshawy explained that the Faculty continues to adopt initiatives aimed at promoting the educational process, noting that cooperation with advanced research centers enhances the quality of educational outcomes and provides students with real-world experiences that open wide professional and scientific prospects for them.
Students expressed their great satisfaction with this field experience, confirming that it had provided them with valuable practical skills. They stressed that such visits serve as a vital bridge between academic study and practical reality and requested that similar activities be repeated in the future. They also expressed their desire to open avenues of cooperation between the Faculty and the Center, given the significant benefit they gained.
