Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that Beni Suef University Hospitals received 26,400 citizens during the period from November 1 to 20. The hospitals recorded 16,700 visits to outpatient clinics, 8,000 cases at the emergency department, and 1,700 inpatient admissions across various departments and intensive care units. These figures reflect the increasing demand for the medical services provided.
President explained that these statistics demonstrate the growing confidence in the quality of healthcare services offered and confirm the efforts made to efficiently and promptly meet the health needs of citizens. He emphasized that work is progressing at full capacity to further develop the services provided at the University Hospital, reduce waiting lists, and enhance the hospital’s role in serving the community of Beni Suef, thereby contributing to improving the level of medical services and alleviating the burdens on citizens.
In a related context, Dr. Hani Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, noted that the Faculty Administration is working diligently, in cooperation with the University, to improve performance levels and increase efficiency within departments to ensure the provision of top-quality medical care. He added that the development plan includes upgrading medical equipment, expanding capacity, and providing safe and effective healthcare to all visitors.
Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of University Hospitals, confirmed that these figures highlight the hospital’s commitment to delivering distinguished healthcare services. He pointed out that future plans include expanding capacity and improving the quality of care to meet the expectations and health needs of citizens.
