Faculty of Developmental Social Work Conducts Visits to Institutions Serving Vulnerable Social Groups

Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Developmental Social Work conducted the second field visit for first-year students to several community institutions focused on vulnerable social groups. The visits included the Right to Life Association, the Elderly Home, the Social Defense Complex, Al-Noor wa Al-Amal Center for the Blind, and the Association for the Care of Orphanage Social Institutions. The visits were overseen by Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Hendawy Abdellahi Hassan, Dean of the Faculty.

The visits were executed under the direct supervision of Dr. Fadl Mohamed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Masad El-Desouky, Director of the Field Training Unit, with participation from faculty members and supporting staff in organizing and monitoring the visits.

The university president emphasized that these visits are part of the college’s field training plan, aimed at developing students’ professional skills and equipping them with the abilities to interact effectively with various groups and institutions, ensuring the preparation of social work professionals capable of performing their roles efficiently.

Dr. Hendawy noted that during the visits, students engaged in interactive dialogue with different groups, provided social and psychological support, and highlighted the college’s commitment to continue offering all forms of support in future visits.
