Beni Suef University Faculty of Nursing Participates in Mansoura National University International Conference on “Empowering and Investing in the Nursing Profession”

Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing actively participated in the First International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura National University, held in collaboration with New Lanarkshire College in Scotland, UK, and La Trobe University in Australia. The conference was titled “Empowering and Investing the Nursing Profession: As an Asset to the State’s Economy.”
The university’s participation included several leaders and academics. Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawi, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, served as a Chair Person in one of the main conference sessions. Dr. Shaimaa Hassan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatric Nursing, presented a research paper on “Artificial Intelligence in Positive Mental Health,” highlighting the role of modern technology in supporting mental health care. Similarly, Dr. Alia Abdullah, Vice Dean of the Nursing Technical Institute, presented a paper titled “The Digital Revolution in Mental Health Care,” which reviewed technological developments and their applications in improving the quality of mental health services.
Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized that the Faculty of Nursing’s participation reflects the university’s strategic vision to enhance education and scientific research in nursing, and to support young professionals in contributing to the development of the healthcare system. He also highlighted the importance of such events in building academic collaboration with global educational institutions, promoting knowledge exchange, and reinforcing the role of nursing as a vital profession in society. He added that the recognition of the faculty at this conference is a testament to the ongoing efforts to raise the standard of education and research at Beni Suef University.
At the conclusion of the conference, the Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University was honored for its active and distinguished participation in the conference sessions and discussions.
