Beni Suef University Faculty of Pharmacy Hosts Seminar to Promote Family Awareness Among Students

Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized an awareness seminar as part of the “Mawadda” initiative, in collaboration with the Students’ Union for Egypt. The event was held under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hasan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Environmental and Community Affairs, Dr. Shahira El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Igal Abdel-Hamid, Vice Dean for Environmental and Community Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Farouk, General Coordinator of the Students’ Union for Egypt, and Dr. Hossam El-Hawary, General Coordinator of Student Activities, alongside Dr. Dina Amin, Coordinator of the Students’ Union for Egypt at the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The seminar was presented by Dr. Mohamed Saad El-Sherbiny, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Developmental Social Work for Environmental and Community Affairs and Coordinator of the “Mawadda” initiative at the university, who outlined the goals and main themes of the initiative.

Dr. Tarek Ali emphasized the university’s commitment to actively participating in national initiatives that support the stability of Egyptian families and raise social awareness among youth. This seminar is part of the presidential “Mawadda” initiative, which aims to promote positive communication values and equip young people with essential knowledge in social, psychological, religious, and reproductive health aspects, contributing to the development of an informed generation capable of building stable and cohesive families.

The seminar saw notable engagement from students, who posed numerous questions and participated in constructive discussions, expressing their appreciation for the seminar’s content and its role in broadening their understanding of family relationships and societal issues.
