Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, and within the framework of the ambitious national vision for digital transformation and building a university generation capable of leading the future, the Community Initiatives Team at the Faculty of Education launched pioneering training activities within the “Digital College” initiative.
The initiative targeted first-year students and was overseen by Dr. Abu El-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Osama Mahmoud Qarni, Dean of the Faculty of Education; Dr. Ahmed Fikri Bahnassawi, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Azzam Abdel-Nabi Ahmed, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit and Head of the Sustainable Development Team; and Dr. Yasmine Salah Rashad, Head of the Community Initiatives Team at the Faculty. This initiative underscores the Faculty's commitment to supporting its students' digital skills.
The university president explained that the initiative's activities included guiding students on how to properly register on educational websites and platforms, as well as introducing them to the skills needed to professionally use artificial intelligence tools within the university setting. This contributes to building a new digital awareness that prepares them for academic and professional leadership in a rapidly changing world. Dr. Tariq Ali also emphasized that this initiative transcends being merely a student activity; it represents a responsible national message reflecting the leadership spirit within the college and its firm belief that human development begins with empowering individuals with knowledge, skills, and the ability to compete digitally.
For his part, Dr. Osama Qarni affirmed that the college's community initiatives team continues its pioneering role in leadership, influence, and empowerment, working to open doors for students and build bridges toward a future characterized by greater awareness, innovation, and the ability to make a difference. Dr. Qarni also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to everyone contributing to building a digitally conscious generation—a generation that shapes the future rather than waiting for it to happen—emphasizing the shared pursuit of true leadership, which begins with knowledge, is complemented by determination, and fulfills the dream of a nation progressing through its people.
