The Beni Suef Health Directorate honors the Faculty of Nursing at the conclusion of a specialized training course.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced that the Beni Suef Health Affairs Directorate honored Dr. Hanan El-Zablawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University, and the faculty members, at the conclusion of the intensive training course organized by the Faculty under the guidance of Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, and in cooperation with the Health Affairs Directorate, led by Dr. Hani Gomaa, Undersecretary of the Ministry, for 200 members of the nursing staff working in hospitals and health care facilities in the governorate, which lasted for 8 weeks inside the laboratories and halls of the Faculty of Nursing, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Islam Mokhtar, and the coordination and supervision of Dr. Maha Hassan, Director of the Nursing Department.
The university president explained that the training included a number of topics, including first aid for shock of all kinds and accompanying nursing care, advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, dealing with different coma cases, measuring central venous and arterial pressure, and caring for medical connections such as central venous catheters, gastroesophageal tubes, urinary catheters, colostomy, tracheostomy, wound dressing and bedsores, and dealing with breathing difficulties and jaundice in children.
For her part, Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawi Hassan expressed her happiness with the fruitful cooperation with the Directorate of Health Affairs, praising the Directorate’s continuous support in providing outstanding training opportunities for college students within hospitals and health care centers. She stressed that continuous training for nursing staff is an absolute necessity to ensure quality performance and continued efficiency, noting that “Egypt’s White Army” is the first line of defense in confronting diseases and promoting community health.
Dr. Hani Gomaa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Beni Suef, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to Beni Suef University and the Faculty of Nursing for their outstanding efforts in practical and theoretical training. He affirmed the Directorate’s full readiness to continue cooperating with the Faculty to raise the efficiency of nursing staff, which will positively impact the quality of health services provided to citizens.
