Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organized a training day entitled “Quality as an Approach to Institutional Development – ??Towards Building a Sustainable Quality System”, under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Al-Nasser, Dean of the Faculty.
Dr. Narmin Atef El-Shimi, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, lectured at the training day activities, in the presence of Dr. Taghreed Nabil, Vice Dean of the College for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Lilian Nagi, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, and Dr. Asmaa Alaa, Deputy Director of the Unit.
Dr. Tariq explained that the meeting aims to train heads of scientific departments, course coordinators, and external reviewers at the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, with the goal of raising awareness of the importance of applying quality standards and the resulting improvement of the educational, research, and community communication system, in addition to supporting the efficiency of the administrative system within the college and the positive impact of this on students, faculty members, graduates, and employees.
The day also included training course coordinators on the mechanisms of description according to the new models issued by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, with an agreement to hold a weekly meeting to follow up on the implementation of standards activities and provide technical support to the committees affiliated with the Quality Assurance Unit.
