The Faculty of Dentistry at Beni Suef University is implementing a second dose vaccination campaign for its students.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Dentistry successfully implemented the second dose campaign of the hepatitis C vaccination for public and private college students, in completion of the prevention program agreed upon in cooperation with the Preventive Medicine Department of the Beni Suef Health Directorate. This campaign came under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Fathallah, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and was supervised in the field by Dr. Maha Abdel-Qawi, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
The university president affirmed that this campaign is part of the university's strategy to strengthen ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population, contributing to efforts to maintain public health and reduce the spread of viral diseases among medical students. The campaign also reflects the university's unwavering commitment to providing a safe and healthy educational environment that ensures the well-being of all its members.
The Dean of the College added that the campaign was carried out with the active participation of the Preventive Medicine team at the Beni Suef Health Directorate, headed by Dr. Omnia Ahmed Hassan, Director of the Preventive Medicine Department. The team also included the dedicated efforts of Dr. Shaimaa Salama, Preventive Medicine Director at the Beni Suef Health Administration, Ms. Afaf Radi, Mr. Yahya Tawfiq, and Ms. Neama.
