Beni Suef University President Visits Patient's Father, Commends 13-Year-Old Son's Heroic Rescue

Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni Suef University, visited the father of 13-year-old Mohamed to check on his health following a sudden stroke experienced while driving a transport truck along the Eastern Desert Road in Beni Suef Governorate. During the visit at Beni Suef University Hospitals, Dr. Ali commended the young boy’s composure, quick thinking, and bravery in securing emergency assistance for his father.

Dr. Ali reviewed the medical status and treatment progress with the attending clinical team, commending their rapid intervention upon the patient's arrival. He reaffirmed the university's commitment to its humanitarian and social duty in delivering urgent, specialized medical care. The University President noted that young Mohamed demonstrated remarkable responsibility and awareness by promptly contacting the Egyptian Ambulance Authority, whose rapid dispatch proved critical to saving his father's life.

Dr. Hany Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors for University Hospitals, stated that immediate medical protocols were initiated as soon as the patient arrived. He added that the patient is showing noticeable improvement under continuous medical monitoring.

Dr. Emad El-Banna, Executive Director of University Hospitals, confirmed that the patient suffered a stroke (brain clot) and received swift medical treatment. He emphasized that the son's prompt action ensured timely hospitalization and crucial clinical intervention.

The delegation accompanying the University President included Dr. Hany Hamed, Dr. Emad El-Banna, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary-General of the University, along with senior medical staff.
