Dr. Khaled Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary, Beni Suef

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, issued Decision No. 219  of assigning Dr. Khaled Abbas Helmy, Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary , to manage the work of the Deanship of the Faculty of Veterinary  until July 31, 2025 or until the issuance of the presidential decree appointing a Dean for the Faculty. The President of the University congratulated Dr. Khaled Abbas, wishing him success and guidance to continue the progress of the Faculty, and thanked Dr. Sabry Tamam, the former Dean, for his efforts during his tenure as Dean of the Faculty

CV of the new Dean of Veterinary 

It is worth noting that Dr. Khaled Abbas obtained a Master's degree in Veterinary Sciences from Cairo University in 1992, then a PhD in Toxicology from Cairo University in 1996, and held several positions, including General Supervisor of the University Press, Director of the Conference Center, Director of the Integrated Learning Center, and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary 

Abbas also held the position of Vice Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Secretary of the Faculty Members Club, and Secretary of the Egyptian Society of Environmental Toxicology. He was also a visiting professor at Miguel Hernandez University in Spain

Scientific Research

Dr. Khaled Abbas has published more than 45 scientific research papers in international, Arab, and Egyptian scientific journals, as well as participating in organizing and attending a large number of international conferences, and has received scientific awards from the American Toxicology Authority, and has worked as a research reviewer in a number of scientific journals
