Dr. Khaled Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary in Beni Suef, to Al-Masry Al-Youm: We will work on preparing funded research projects, developing postgraduate programs, and focusing on food safety.

Prof. Dr. Khaled Abbas confirmed that the various departments of the college are working on preparing research projects in various fields of veterinary , which will be funded by some donors. These projects aim to develop the scientific and research level of the college, which will benefit the veterinary community in general

He pointed out that the scientific departments in the college are working on preparing a program of lectures and scientific seminars that will be implemented during the academic year in an organized manner. This program aims to develop the level of education and practical training for students and enhance their interaction with the latest developments in the fields of veterinary


He added that the program includes appointing an official for international cooperation, in order to enhance communication with international universities to conclude joint cooperation agreements. This includes training students on the latest methods and systems in veterinary , and issuing joint scientific certificates in cooperation with these universities

He said that the college is working on preparing a new scientific regulation for postgraduate programs, in line with the great scientific development worldwide. In addition, the college is interested in the “Food Safety” program, which is a specialized scientific program that aims to graduate doctors specialized in this important field
