Faculty of Veterinary , Beni Suef University, performs two delicate surgeries in one day to save animals

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary at Beni Suef University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Siddiq, Professor of Surgery at the Faculty, on Thursday, February 27, in the presence of some fourth-year students, a tumor was removed from the udder of a female dog using general anesthesia The operation was performed by Dr. Ahmed Hafez, a faculty member in the Department of Surgery, with the assistance of Dr. Mohamed Gamal, Dr. Ahmed Qurashi, and the rest of the assistant staff in the department. The operation was successful, as the tumor was completely removed and the animal is in good health

At the end of the  day on Thursday, a rumen incision was performed on a Friesian cow by Dr. Ahmed Hafez, a surgery lecturer, with the assistance of the department’s assistant staff and in the presence of some fourth-year students. A metal nail that had penetrated the stomach wall and some plastic bags were removed. The animal is in good and stable condition after the operation
