Professional Experience

Professor of Fish Diseases and Management and Head of Fish Department – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Beni Suef University - Egypt, 2004 - present.

  • Taught theoretical and practical courses of undergraduate, graduate and post graduate students in Fish Departments of two Egyptian universities (Tanta University and Beni Suef University).
  • Supervised a number of Ph. D. and M.Sc. theses at Beni Suef University and Cairo University.
  • Participated in the approval of a number of Ph. D. and M.Sc. theses at Beni Suef University, Cairo University and Alexandria University in both Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of Agriculture.
  • Co-authored two books for undergraduate student courses in Fish Diseases and Management.
  • Translated one reference in the field of Fish Diseases from English to Arabic.
