The use of unconventional fibrous feeds in rabbit diets

Master Abstract

It is generally concluded that the low quality roughages could be used as hay substitutes, at reasonable cost especially if fed as ingredients of pelleted diets. In spite of the positive results obtained the point of research needs more study performed with weanling pups and with diets having different roughage proportions and types.
