Arterial supply of the stomach of Baladi rabbit
Research Abstract
Twenty adult healthy Baladi rabbits of either sex were used to demonstrate the arterial supply of the stomach. Immediately after slaughtering of rabbits, the thoracic part of the aorta (just prior to its passage through the hiatus aorticus of the diaphragm) was injected by gum milk latex (colored red) with carmine. The study revealed that the stomach was supplied via the celiac artery.
