The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Beni Suef begins implementing joint international scientific cooperation agreements with international universities.

In the framework of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Beni Suef University’s keenness to communicate externally with similar faculties and specializations in international universities for the purpose of exchanging experiences, effective participation in scientific conferences and research projects, and exchanging faculty members, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Khaled Abbas, in its last meeting on March 11, decided to assign Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ali Mohamed, Professor of Poultry Diseases, to the responsibility of coordinating international cooperation agreements and external relations with international universities of prestigious scientific standing.

He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Beni Suef University in 2002, then was appointed a teaching assistant at the college in 2003. He obtained a master's degree in poultry diseases in 2009, and a doctorate in the same specialty in 2012.
His Excellency received the Belonging and Partnership Initiative Grant provided by the Ministry of Higher Education in 2007 to travel to the United States of America to complete his Master's thesis at Ohio University in the United States of America, and he was promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Poultry Diseases at the College in 2020.
His Excellency also received two awards from the 62nd and 63rd Conference on Poultry Diseases, which was held in Minnesota, USA, in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, His Excellency received the Richard Remler Memorial Award from the American University for Poultry Pathology Specialists for more than fifty-nine scientific papers published in international journals, as well as two chapters in the book Veterinary Virology, published by Springer.
